About Me
I am a recent graduate of the Master of Environmental Studies (MES) program at the University of Pennsylvania, with a focus on sustainability. I am currently seeking a full-time job to transition into the environmental field.
My MES capstone project explored public awareness and attitudes around green burial options and what factors go into those attitudes, including a large-scale online survey with over 1,400 respondents. In addition to greener burial options, I'm passionate about reducing waste, land conservation, public transportation, and making sure that everyone has access to green spaces and sustainable options.
For the past 8.5 years, I have been at Penn’s Annenberg Public Policy Center where I have worked on academic research, media analysis, external communications, copyediting and writing, graphic design, and event coordination. I also serve as our office Eco-Rep and worked to re-implement an office composting program.
In my free time, I play clarinet with the Philadelphia Freedom Band and volunteer with the band, currently focusing on graphic design, web development, marketing, fundraising, and merchandise. I also volunteer with Friends of Green Burial PA, a nonprofit education and advocacy group aimed at increasing interest in and availability of green burial in the state of Pennsylvania. I love reading, baking, playing board games, and going for long walks with my dog,
